Rentokil Initial acquired Po Hong Services Limited (PHL) on July 2007 and Computer Terminal Renew Service Limited (CTRS) CTRS on March 2008 to kick start its IT/Office Surface Hygiene Solutions in Hong Kong. Both CTRS and PHL offer specialised hygiene solutions and are renowned for its 50 years expertise on computers anti-static, disinfecting and sanitising of IT and office equipment, such as telephones, personal computers (PCs), fax and photocopier.

With the integration of PHL and CTRS into Rentokil Initial’s portfolio of hygiene solutions (under the Initial Hygiene umbrella brand), we are committed to setting industry standards based on quality service, innovation and understanding and meeting the needs of our customers.
Effective from April 2009, PHL was renamed to PHL Initial. The name change was part of the exercise to strengthen our brand and solution offerings to our customers.
